Part Two of Marc Watson’s guest comic series, “Butch in Pirateland.”   I hope you’re enjoying it as much as I am.  The characters you see besides Butch, are from Marc’s upcoming book series, which you can find at his site and I’ll also post here when its available.

We’re getting pretty much settled into our new place and are really loving it there.   The animals have seem to adjusted pretty well themselves.  Just wish we had internet there…

Today’s comic is brought to us by Marc Watson, who was gracious enough to do a guest comic for me while I get moved into my new place.  And all I can say is WOW, it turned out amazing.  Everyone show him some love on this!

The last comic of V-Day.   The next arc will be something that leans on  the humorous side of things a lot more.    I think long time readers will enjoy it…

But before that we may have some one panel, stand alone comics with maybe a guest comic if I’m lucky.  Feel free to submit one, because I’ll be packing and moving and the more time I can save the better!

Well, this story line is just about to wrap up.  When I write a story like I always like to have the general idea whats going to happen in each comic and how many comics will be in the arc.   If you’ve been around awhile you’ve noticed that in the past I’ve changed styles of comic page size.  This “double stack”  I’m doing now is probably going to be the standard from now on, so I can do one story arc a month at the same length as the old ones, which would take at least two months to do.

I wanted to point out that I updated the cast page.   So, if you’re a new reader it may be in your interest to check it out.

This has to have been one of the longest weeks I’ve felt like I’ve gone through in awhile.  It’s been tough, and it doesn’t show signs of letting up but getting my comic out is really how I keep my self sane sometimes, that and spending some quiet time with Janeen.

Enjoy this comic as much as I did making it!

One of of the disadvantages of doing a comic like this one is I miss the chance to do comics about current events, such as the Olympics.  While I’m not a fan of it, and I haven’t even bothered to take the time to catch up on it.  I know that some of my readers are.   Maybe in the future I’ll try to work something like this in, but we’ll see.

I’m on a fairly good routine right now getting things done, but with the next couple of days I’ll be extra busy so it’s going to test my resolve.  I’m sure all will go well though.

Wow, Monday is already here?  O.o

Well, I’m going to write today’s post pretty short because today is my birthday.   So I’ll be spending most of it relaxing.

I have to say I was pretty surprised today to see that I had some negative comments on some older comics.  They were from the same person, but it left me thinking.  The comments in no way made me want to stop doing this comic, but it interested me that after all this time they were the first I had gotten.   Honestly, it’s pretty exciting because I’ve always felt like you weren’t going anywhere unless you were getting hate mail.

Has anyone ever said anything overly negative about anything you guys have done?  I’m curious how you dealt with it.
